In what turned out to be the most fiercely contested Saturdays of the year, Ray White Daisy Hill, Marsden, and AKG sold 5 properties under the hammer, with a 100% clearance rate.
In what was billed as a Super Saturday of auctions and open homes, the results did not disappoint.
Avi Khan, Principal of the above offices commented that over 50 bidders competed to secure the properties. Across all the open homes for the group, over 500 people attended.
It’s clear that market momentum in the Brisbane South and the Logan regions is still gaining.
Selling Agent Jess Nguyen sold 17 Lloyd Court in Heritage Park today with 7 bidders competing to secure the property. Jess said that bigger lifestyle blocks were very popular and she was trying to keep up with demand from local buyers who were eager to move into Heritage Park.
Over in Marsden, Faziya Day sold 39 Coolmunda Street for $680,000. Faziya said that the market in this region is still commanding a perfect storm of buyers where owner occupiers were competing with investors to secure properties.
One of the standout results in the region was at 1 Bradley Street, Springwood. Selling agents, Caleb Harman and Zia Rahim, sold the renovated corner block property for $920,000 under the hammer. The team commented that this was a record price for a 3 bedroom home this year in the suburb. We are excited that this sale will change the value of homes in Springwood.
In Shailer Park, Zia Rahim and Caleb Harman combined again to sell a renovator under the hammer for $820,000. Renovators are few and far between in this market and this one was humming with a flurry of bids with the hammer coming down in just fifteen minutes at 44 Marana Court, Shailer Park.
The day for the group finished at 19 Kyogle Street, Crestmead. Selling Agent Rebecca Cuderman had 7 bidders competing to secure the property. The late finish didn’t deter the bidders with a flurry of bids with the hammer coming down at $440,000.
