Ray White AKG Auction Avenue Event Finishes With a Bang

By Avi Khan

With stock levels low throughout April, Ray White AKG took more than 35 properties to Auction with 25 properties being presented to the market at its penultimate Auction Avenue.

The AKG team comprising Ray White Brookwater, Greater Springfield, Daisy Hill and Marsden presented properties from Greater Springfield to Brisbane City and through Logan and Coomera.

Ray White AKG Principal Avi Khan commented that investor confidence in the Brisbane market has been strong not only for buying investors but also for selling investors. This is really spurring market movement alongside first home buyers searching in more affordable markets. Market sentiment remains high with expectations surrounding interest rate reductions still on the cards, likely to result in greater activity in May and beyond!

AKG Auctions attracted over 230 bidders resulting in a clearance rate of 78%.

Ray White AKG listing agent Emma Walter (pictured above) said the events attracted interest from buyers as far as England. As clearance rates remain elevated, so too will bidder activity. With the underlying need for housing remaining high, and the mismatch between listing numbers, new house construction and population keeping demand elevated, we expect to see greater competition surrounding auctions.
