18 Properties Sold Under The Hammer In One Night

By Avi Khan

In its biggest auction event ever, Ray White Daisy Hill, Marsden, and AKG sold 18 properties under the hammer, with an 82% clearance rate. In what was billed as Logan’s Biggest Auction Event,  the results did not disappoint.

Avi Khan, Principal of the above offices commented that over 100 bidders competed to secure the properties. While the nation waits for travel restrictions to end, there is no evidence buyers are doing the same and delaying their plans to secure their next home.

Oftentimes, when we have seen positive growth in the Brisbane market, the Logan region did not experience the same growth trajectory.  With the region experiencing a surge in demand from investors and homeowners alike,  we decided to work in our sellers best interest by creating a competitive and transparent environment for buyers to purchase property.

The highlight was the result achieved at 1829 Mount Cotton Road, Cornubia. Marketing agents, Alex Mcleod and Caleb Harman, from Ray White Daisy Hill sold this property for $1.8million. This property was previously on the market with 6 other agents since 2018.

Mr. Mcleod commented that the auction process allowed the best price to be achieved for the sellers.  Our sellers were on the market previously without any success. We achieved a premium result with ecstatic buyers.

Loganlea Marketing agent Ryan Murphy had six properties sold under the hammer in Loganlea tonight. Mr. Murphy commented that Loganlea is quickly transforming to a real estate hotspot in Logan.  The suburb is in the middle of everywhere. Investors are buying properties unseen at levels we have never witnessed before.

Selling agent Rebecca Shortall from Ray White Daisy Hill also had a stellar night with two properties selling under the hammer after fierce bidding. Rebecca stated that with population growth, low interest rates and the olympic shine driving the market it isn’t surprising to see a big jump in Brisbane’s median, up on an average $100,000.
